Role overview
TIG and Arc welders for industrial piping and fabrication in Singapore, on PCM work permits. Carbon-steel experience and an RT test pass are required.
Key responsibilities
- Perform TIG (GTAW) and Arc (SMAW) welding on carbon-steel pipes and structures
- Prepare welding joints, including bevelling and surface preparation
- Carry out pipe fit-up and alignment before welding
- Set up and operate welding machines, power sources and related equipment
- Inspect completed welds for visible defects
- Repair or rework welds where required
- Work to welding procedures, drawings and site instructions
- Maintain welding equipment, tools and a clean work area
- Follow industrial safety and site procedures at all times
Requirements
- Proven practical experience in TIG and Arc welding of carbon steel
- Singapore U-turn worker, or Middle East U-turn worker
- Must be able to pass the RT (Radiographic Testing) test
- Able to read basic welding symbols and technical drawings
- Industrial piping or fabrication experience preferred
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

Salary & benefits
SGD 24–30 /hr — approximately ₹1,800 – ₹2,300 per hour (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
