Role overview
Tanker drivers are required for water, fuel, industrial and chemical liquid transport. Work includes deliveries to construction sites, depots, plants and commercial customers, depending on the product carried. AED 2,500 to 4,500 a month, indicative.
Experience requirement. Candidates must have at least 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience, preferably on tankers.
Key responsibilities
- Drive water, fuel, industrial or chemical tankers on assigned routes
- Check the tank, valves, hoses, couplings, seals and gauges before loading
- Load the correct product and quantity at the loading point
- Check delivery notes and product labels against the order
- Drive smoothly to limit liquid surge when braking and cornering
- Connect hoses and discharge at the customer's tank or point
- Keep clear of ignition sources during fuel loading and discharge
- Carry and know how to use the fire extinguisher and spill kit
- Record quantities delivered and obtain customer signatures
- Follow site entry, permit and gate rules at depots and plants
Requirements
- At least 3 years of heavy vehicle driving experience
- A valid UAE driving licence in the right category is an advantage. Otherwise a valid Indian licence for the same vehicle class, and willingness to complete the UAE licence process the employer arranges
- Fuel and chemical tankers need hazardous-goods training where the employer and local rules require it
- Experience driving tankers is preferred
- Understanding of spill and fire safety basics
- Basic English or Hindi to read labels and instructions
- Valid passport

Salary & benefits
