Role overview

Shutdown/Turnaround Engineer for planned GCC refinery and petrochemical outages. AED 10,000 to 16,000 a month.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare shutdown and turnaround scopes
  • Build work packs, schedules and resource plans
  • Line up contractors, materials and permits for the shutdown
  • Track execution and manage critical path activities
  • Control scope changes and emergent work
  • Support safe restart and close-out reporting

Requirements

  • B.E. or B.Tech in mechanical or chemical engineering
  • Hands-on experience in planned GCC refinery and petrochemical outages
  • Experience planning turnarounds in Primavera P6
  • Knowledge of refinery or gas plant equipment
  • Experience on GCC oil and gas, EPC, refinery, petrochemical or LNG projects is preferred
  • Valid passport
  • Medically fit for overseas employment
