Role overview
Civil QA and QC engineers for GCC construction: inspections, material approvals, inspection and test plans, NCR management and compliance with approved drawings.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the project quality control plan
- Prepare and maintain inspection and test plans
- Inspect civil construction activities
- Raise and close work inspection requests
- Review material inspection requests and material approvals
- Inspect reinforcement and formwork
- Monitor concrete pouring
- Verify concrete slump and cube testing
- Inspect waterproofing works
- Inspect masonry and blockwork
- Inspect plastering and finishing works
- Verify construction against approved drawings
- Review method statements
- Monitor subcontractor workmanship
- Raise non-conformance reports for work that does not comply
- Follow up corrective and preventive action
- Keep quality records
- Coordinate with consultants and client representatives
- Attend inspections and testing
- Review laboratory test reports
- Monitor material compliance
- Assist with handover documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- At least 3 years of construction QA and QC experience
- Strong understanding of civil construction
- Experience with inspection procedures
- Able to read drawings
- Knowledge of ITPs, WIRs, MIRs and NCRs
- Knowledge of concrete and reinforcement inspection
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

Salary & benefits
AED 5,000–12,000 /mo — approximately ₹129,700 – ₹311,300 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
