Role overview
Technical procurement of field instrumentation in Oman. OMR 400 and above a month, with transport and accommodation provided.
Key responsibilities
- Handle procurement of field instrumentation and related materials
- Review technical specifications and material requirements
- Source suitable suppliers and manufacturers
- Request and compare supplier quotations
- Coordinate technical clarifications with engineering teams
- Prepare and process purchase orders and documentation
- Follow up with suppliers on manufacturing and delivery
- Monitor material availability and delivery status
- Maintain procurement records and supplier information
Requirements
- Engineering degree or diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Industrial instrumentation procurement preferred
- Understanding of pressure, level, temperature and flow instruments
- Good vendor coordination and negotiation
- Able to read technical specifications and datasheets
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment
