Role overview
Civil planning engineers for construction, infrastructure and major GCC projects: scheduling in Primavera P6, progress monitoring, reporting and delay analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules in Primavera P6
- Prepare baseline programmes and approved construction schedules
- Develop the WBS and activity coding structure
- Set activity durations, relationships and logic
- Update schedules from actual site progress
- Monitor planned against actual progress
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
- Prepare S-curves and progress dashboards
- Track critical path activities
- Identify delays, slippage and schedule risk
- Analyse the causes of delay
- Prepare recovery and mitigation programmes
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, procurement and subcontractor teams
- Collect site progress from discipline engineers
- Monitor procurement and material delivery against the programme
- Track drawings, approvals and technical submissions
- Prepare look-ahead programmes
- Assist with extension of time documentation
- Keep project records and schedule updates
- Support project managers in client and consultant meetings
- Prepare schedule reports and presentations for management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant construction experience
- Strong Primavera P6 experience
- Strong understanding of construction sequences
- Able to read drawings and specifications
- Experience preparing progress reports
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

Salary & benefits
AED 6,000–12,000 /mo — approximately ₹155,600 – ₹311,300 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
