Role overview

Key responsibilities
- Assist the pastry chef with daily preparation
- Prepare ingredients and baking materials
- Assist with mixing, shaping and baking
- Support preparation of cakes, pastries and desserts
- Keep pastry equipment and work areas clean
- Follow recipes and production instructions
- Assist with decoration and finishing
- Store ingredients properly
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
Requirements
- Bakery or pastry experience preferred
- Basic understanding of pastry preparation
- Good hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Able to work in a fast paced kitchen
- Valid passport and medically fit for overseas employment
