Role overview

A hotel and housekeeping helper is required for hotels, resorts and staff accommodation operations. You support room attendants, laundry and public-area teams and help keep guest areas clean and ready. AED 1,200 to 1,800 a month, indicative.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms and bathrooms to the hotel checklist
  • Change bed linen and replace towels
  • Restock toiletries, tea and coffee supplies and room amenities
  • Push linen and housekeeping trolleys between floors
  • Support laundry staff with sorting, folding and delivering linen
  • Clean corridors, lifts, lobbies and other public areas
  • Vacuum, mop and polish floors and surfaces
  • Handle guests' belongings with care and report lost items
  • Report maintenance faults in rooms to the supervisor
  • Use cleaning chemicals as trained and store them correctly

Requirements

  • No trade qualification needed
  • Basic English for guest courtesy and supervisor instructions
  • Able to follow instructions in Hindi

About the work

You help rooms and public areas reach the hotel's standard. That includes changing linen, restocking supplies, cleaning bathrooms and supporting laundry and public-area teams. Grooming and guest courtesy matter, and basic English is needed to follow supervisors and speak politely with guests. The work involves standing, bending, pushing trolleys and working shifts that include weekends and holidays.
