Role overview
Experienced Genset Technician required for preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel generator sets supporting telecom sites in Qatar.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance of DG and genset equipment
- Carry out corrective maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Inspect batteries, charging systems and ATS components
- Inspect fuel systems and identify fuel-related issues
- Carry out emergency restoration during power failures
- Maintain service and maintenance records
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant DG or genset experience
- Practical experience in generator maintenance and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of battery and ATS systems
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
- Telecom or remote site experience is an advantage
