Role overview

Forklift operators are required for warehouses, yards and distribution centres. The work is moving pallets and loads with counterbalance and reach trucks, loading and unloading trucks, and stacking racks. AED 1,800 to 3,000 a month, indicative.

Experience requirement. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or yard.

Key responsibilities

Operate counterbalance forklifts in yards and at loading docks
Operate reach trucks to store and retrieve pallets from high racks
Handle pallets, drums, cartons and bulk goods without damage
Load and unload trucks and containers
Carry out daily checks of forks, chains, mast, tyres, brakes, horn, lights and battery or fuel
Read the load chart on the machine and never exceed the rated capacity
Keep forks low while travelling and sound the horn at blind corners
Stack and de-stack pallets safely at the correct rack positions
Keep walkways clear and follow pedestrian zones
Scan or record pallets as they move, when the system requires

Requirements

At least 2 years of forklift operating experience
A forklift operator licence or third-party certificate is an advantage
Experience with both counterbalance and reach trucks is preferred
Understanding of load charts and safe stacking height
Knowledge of pedestrian and warehouse safety rules
Basic English or Hindi for instructions and labels
Valid passport
Medically fit for overseas employment

About the work

You move pallets from trucks to storage racks and back to trucks, following the warehouse team's instructions. You work close to people and other vehicles, so safety is part of every move. The employer expects careful driving, neat stacking and honest daily checks of the machine.

Ideal candidate

A careful, alert operator who treats the forklift as heavy equipment and not a toy. You check the machine, read the load chart and watch for people around you.

Salary & benefits

AED 1,800–3,000 /mo — approximately ₹46,700 – ₹77,800 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
