Role overview
Field operators for refinery units in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais, covering field rounds, equipment checks and support to the control room.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine field rounds and equipment inspections
- Monitor pumps, compressors, vessels, valves and heat exchangers
- Record operating parameters
- Spot leaks, abnormal noise, vibration and other abnormalities
- Coordinate with control room operators
- Carry out equipment line-up and operational checks
- Support startup and shutdown
- Assist with equipment isolation and handover
- Support maintenance work under an approved permit
- Follow LOTO and refinery safety procedures
- Assist with emergency response
- Keep field operating logs
- Support commissioning and turnaround
Requirements
- Diploma, ITI, B.E. or B.Tech in chemical, mechanical or process engineering, or a related discipline
- 1 to 8 years or more of field operations experience
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

General requirements for these refinery roles
- Medically fit, and able to meet GCC employment and visa requirements
- Relevant refinery, petrochemical, oil and gas, gas-processing or heavy-process industry experience is preferred
- Willing to work shift-based, plant or field roles where the job requires it
- Good English communication and technical reporting
- Understands and follows HSE, permit-to-work, LOTO and emergency-response procedures
- Educational and experience documents may be verified by the employer
- Able to provide educational certificates, experience letters and supporting documents
- Final selection rests with the employer's interview, technical assessment and approval
- A pre-employment medical, document verification and visa processing may be required

Salary & benefits
AED 5,000–10,000 /mo — approximately ₹129,700 – ₹259,400 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection.
