About the work

You will take a job from a drawing to a finished assembly. Most of the day is spent measuring, marking, cutting, fitting and welding, with a final dimensional check. The employer expects parts to come out to the drawing size, with welds that pass inspection and little rework.

Ideal candidate

You are an all-round fabricator who can build a frame from a drawing without waiting for step-by-step instructions. You measure twice, cut once and finish your work neatly.
