Role overview

A cleaner and facility helper is required for facility management companies serving residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and industrial properties. The role covers cleaners, janitorial staff, facility support and outdoor helpers. AED 1,000 to 1,600 a month, indicative.

Who can apply. No trade qualification is needed. Previous experience in the same kind of work is an advantage but is not required.

Key responsibilities

Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in offices, corridors and lobbies
Clean and restock washrooms with soap, tissue and hand towels
Empty bins and move waste to the collection point
Clean glass, doors, handrails and lift interiors
Operate scrubbing machines and polishers, where trained
Use cleaning chemicals as trained and read their labels
Carry tools and spares for maintenance and technical teams
Water plants, rake and tidy outdoor areas and car parks
Set up and clear furniture for events and meetings
Report leaks, broken lights and damage to the supervisor

Requirements

No trade qualification needed
Able to follow instructions in Hindi or basic English
Willing to work indoors or outdoors, in heat where the post is outside
Willing to work shifts as the site requires
Punctual, honest and polite with residents and staff
Valid passport
Medically fit for overseas employment

About the work

You keep buildings clean, safe and working. Depending on the site, you may clean offices, washrooms and common areas, support maintenance teams, or look after outdoor areas and landscaping. The work involves standing, walking, bending and, for outdoor posts, heat. Where tasks are electrical, mechanical or otherwise regulated, the helper supports qualified technicians and does not carry out licensed work.

A reliable, honest and tidy person who takes pride in leaving a place cleaner than they found it and who is polite with everyone on site.
