Role overview
Civil site engineers for construction, infrastructure and oil and gas projects in Dubai, running site execution, structural works and subcontractor coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction and site execution
- Execute and monitor RCC, foundations, structural works, piling, concrete and finishing
- Review approved drawings, specifications and construction requirements before execution
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, subcontractors and site teams
- Check reinforcement, bar diameter, spacing, development length, anchorage and concrete cover
- Inspect formwork and shuttering for dimensions, levels, line and alignment
- Coordinate concrete pouring and monitor slump tests, cube tests, vibration and curing
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications and ITP requirements
- Monitor subcontractor performance and workmanship
- Identify defects, deviations and quality issues and coordinate corrective action
- Take part in inspections and maintain site documentation
- Assist with BOQ review, material quantities, procurement and tendering where required
- Monitor material availability and manpower to limit construction delays
- Report progress, technical issues and delays to the project manager
- Coordinate with consultants for technical clarifications and approvals
- Hold or stop work where continued execution could cause serious quality or structural problems, following project procedures
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in construction execution and site supervision
- Experience of technically demanding GCC construction or oil and gas sites
- Able to read construction drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating subcontractors
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

Salary & benefits
AED 4,000–8,000 /mo — approximately ₹103,800 – ₹207,500 per month (indicative). Final salary depends on your experience, skills, communication and interview performance, and on the employer's selection. Benefits such as accommodation, transport, food and other allowances vary by employer and will be confirmed in the employment offer and contract.
