Role overview
Bakery helpers for bakery and food production in Dubai, assisting bakers with daily preparation, production, packing and cleaning. AED 1,500 to 2,000 a month.
Key responsibilities
- Assist bakers and production staff with daily production
- Assist with weighing, measuring and preparing ingredients
- Help prepare bread, buns, cakes, pastries, cookies and other bakery products
- Assist with mixing, shaping, portioning and arranging products under supervision
- Operate basic bakery equipment under the direction of experienced staff
- Assist with loading and unloading ingredients and finished products
- Pack, label and arrange finished bakery products
- Keep work areas, equipment and utensils clean
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Store ingredients and finished products properly
- Check and report shortages or damaged ingredients to the supervisor
- Follow production schedules and the bakery supervisor's instructions
- Support the team during peak production periods
- Prepare baking trays, tins, moulds and other production equipment
- Transfer products between the preparation, proofing, baking and cooling areas
- Support cooling, slicing and packing of finished products
- Follow FIFO and FEFO stock rotation where it applies
- Keep product and ingredient wastage to a minimum
- Assist with cleaning and end of shift sanitation
Requirements
- Experience in a bakery, food production unit, commercial kitchen or restaurant is an advantage
- Basic understanding of bakery production is preferred
- Able to follow instructions and standard production procedures
- Freshers may be considered, depending on the employer
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and workplace cleanliness
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required
- Able to work in a team and follow instructions
- Basic English communication is preferred
- Valid passport
- Medically fit for overseas employment

Salary & benefits
AED 1,500–2,000 /mo — approximately ₹38,900 – ₹51,900 per month (indicative). The role is offered on a 2-year renewable contract.
